Hinderance

Theres a song that says, "If you can't help me, please don't stop me. Get out of my way, don't try to block me."
On our way to get closer to God, we need to make sure we are not around/with people that will hinder us. But, we also need to be sure are own iniquities do not cause a separation between us and God.
'For there is nothing covered that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known' Luke 12:2
We need to take care that the people we love, as well as, those we encounter along the way, do not entangle us in the bondage of sin from which Christ has set us free. We can not of course, assign blame to others as we do have free will. We know that the word says that we must 'Walk in the Spirit'.
Galatians 5:19-21 warns us against things of the flesh which are contrary to the Spirit, therefore they are and will be a hinderance to entering the Kingdom.
It would be a shame, to run this race only to not make it across the finishing line, because we allowed the flesh to rule if only for a minute, an hour, or a day.

Faithful

Per the dictionary Faithful means true to one's word, promises, vows (God) also fidelity, loyalty, constancy, devotion (Us).
We are a set apart people to the Lord God, He has chosen us, He has set His love upon us, not because we are so great, but because He loves us and it pleases him that we believe. He brought us out of sin and redeemed us. Know, recognize and understand that the Lord our God is a faithful God. He will keep His covenant, love us steadfastly and will show us His Mercy if we but keep His commandments. He will bless us and our children, the works of our hands and grant us increase little by little, so that we are not consumed by greed, but appreciate each blessing in and of itself as a Gift from God.
Thank God always, for His Grace, which was given to us by Jesus Christ.

Revival the Third Day Romans 8: 28,35,37-39

Revival is for the saints. Its a rekindling of the flame (our light within) to make it shine. That flame that burns down in our soul the Spirit, that shines out of us that gives us an aura that others see and know us for who and who's we are.
We will have trails and tribulations, this is not an IF but a WHEN. It is a certainty, for those of us who love God.
This was as much of tonights message that I was able to hear, before I had to leave. I'm sorry I missed this last night, but I would have been even sorrier had I missed the first two nights. I believe that I received what the Lord had for me.
For there was indeed confirmation, of where the Lord has been leading me, in my nightly readings of the Word. One chapter at a time, he has been guiding me by revealing, renewal, rededication, restoring, remembrance and revival. Praise God.

Revival the Second Day Phillippians 3:13-14

Paul's letter from Rome, was to encourage the church to love each other. Not Eros which is a sentimental superficial kind of love. Not Fila (Phila) which is brotherly love I'll love you if you love me kind of love. But have Agape love the I'm gonna love you even though kind of love. He encourage them to have Unity within the church to work together for God's will. To Humble themselves in the service of the Lord, to remember that but for the Grace of God. To Believe the scriptures as written to stand firm and hold steady. To Rejoice in the Lord, have joy in Jesus Christ. To have a Goal to get initimate/close with Jesus, move on from the past, don't get stuck for you can't move forward to the future that God has planned for you. To let go of Guilt not to carry it around like a badge of honor, to let go and let God. Come to know the Lord God and Jesus Christ through Bible study, Prayer, Loving each other, walking the righteous path, be not ashamed of being a Christian, be Faithful, Praise the Lord at all times.
But, most importantly Press On to the Prize, the High Calling of Jesus Christ and the Lord will bless your steps.

Revival the First Night Acts 28:1-6

Regarding Saul a persecutor of Christians, who on the road to Damascus heard the voice of Jesus. Became Paul a dedicated faithful teacher/preacher of the Gospel Jesus Christ. On a ship bond for Rome and Caesar, a storm arose. "Storms are gonna come up in your life to try to blow you away/off the path, from the Praising of, Believing in, Trusting of God". The people on the island where they landed made a fire to keep them warm for it was raining. "Troubles are gonna rain down on you, and you will find people who are willing to help you" "You should be expecting it (the troubles) for you are Christians and did not Jesus say, 'Pick up your cross and follow me'. Paul was bitten by a viper on the hand, but he did not cry out or get mad, he just shook it off. "Thats what we as Christians need to do 'Shake it off'. When people look at you wrong 'shake it off', when they talk about you and they will 'shake it off', when family, friends and some of those people at church don't want to associate with you 'shake it off'. You have Jesus in your life, so know you can 'shake it off', if it gets you a little closer to Jesus 'shake it off'. Hold on, get your blessing. Don't let nothing and nobody steal your blessing. Cause Jesus has something for you if he didn't he wouldn't have chosen you (like Saul/Paul) so just 'shake it off'.

Count it all Joy

I rejoice in my salvation. For the Lord has made me joyful, he has strengthen me. I have put my hands to working for the benefit of God.
I trust in his Mercy and because of this, my heart rejoices daily.
He has and will fulfil all my prayers. It may not be in the way/how that I thought it should/would be. But it was answered in such a way that the enemy could not come against me. When the enemy sends something or someone to trouble me, when it seems that my laborers are in vain or fail to produce the desired outcome, when the love given appears not to be returned, when family/friends turn away or cut me from their lives.
I will still rejoice in the Lord. I will count it all joy. For the Lord is my strength and my salvation and I can rest/lean upon him in my days of trouble and Blessed will I be because I put all my trust in him.
Best advice I was ever given: Rejoice in your salvation, proclaim yourself a child of and a servant to the Lord God. Be glad in the Lord, trust in him and the glory of Him will fill your heart.

Bondage

Stubborness, Deception, Fear, Anger, Shame, Guilt, Grief, Depression are the roots of bondage.

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey;....., Romans 6:16

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

But the firm foundation laid by God stands, sure and unshaken, bearing his seal: The Lord knows those who are His, and let everyone who names himself by the name of the Lord give up all iniquity and stand aloof from it. II Timothy 2:19

Believers, break the yoke. Be lead by the Spirit of God.

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, wherby we cry Father. Romans 8:15

For the Spirit bears witness that we are the children of God.

Repenting

Lord I ask for your forgiveness, I can give no excuses. I must be as faithful to you as you are to me. I accepted, this duty to write the Women of Faith blog DAILY. Then yesterday did not write and tried to excuse myself by saying "Well I was going to write a blog after the Prayer Breakfast and the again after the Home Coming. But the computer was in use when I got home after both events, so I was unable to do so." Which as I know you know, was untrue. You awaken me, early yesterday and I could have written something at that time but choose instead to check out facebook and e-mails.
I ask Lord that you forgive me this transgression. I will hold myself accountable to never let it happen again. I ask this as all things in your son Jesus name. A'men.

Home Coming Annual Ladies Night

This event took place at the Church, were my Mother was a member. Their theme was "Come home to Praise a Compassionated God" Saint Mark 5:19.
We were instructed to tell somebody NOW, don't wait until you come home.
Talk of Jesus' parables in Mark 4, they let us know abous us as the seed and us as the fruit of the harvest. God's compassion for the many gathered, who came to be healed. Even though he himself was wreary, still he spoke with and to the mass of people that had come to meet him.
We were charged to remember Praise is Comely and Compassion is difficult to give away because it keeps on coming back.

"Make Him Believable" Prayer Breakfast

How do we present the Lord to people? Tell them this is something everlasting, that this love endures forever. Before you go out consult the Lord as to what to brng with you. Need to do more than witness. Get to know the Lord so you can speak with firm convintion. The steps to follow are found in the Bible. Believe and confess that Jesus died on the cross and rose again. Have to trust and have faith. Accept the Lord as your Savior. Repent of your sins. Belief is counted as righteousness, not your works or actions. The enemy will hinder speech/praise (the I can't, there must be somebody better more qualified than me). Lean on the Lord not on the crutches in your life. Make the decision, then live it, give it 100%, believing without doubt. Take care of the Body it is God's Temple.

I know I've been changed

The angels in Heaven have signed my name.
So the song goes.
I can remember when I was excited about Friday because it meant I would be getting together with the Girls and Guys, hanging out or going to the club, either that night or on Saturday.
Now, I'm excited because Friday means I'm going to be fellowshipping with my Sisters and Brothers in Christ, either at a Friday night Revival, a Saturday Morning Prayer Breakfast, but definitely at Sunday Morning Worship Service.

Waiting on the Lord

But they that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
Wait, stay in place, stand still with expection. Go into your secret place, pray, praise and worship. Your life depends on waiting on the Lord. You can not grow wreary or weaken you have to be able to stand and wait on the salvation of the Lord.
I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say more than they that watch for the morning. Psalm 130:5-6

Faith

We hear alot about Faith, the often quoted. "Faith coming by hearing" as in hearing the word of God. The word has brought light and life to my spirit, so I must constantly feed my spirit with the word. "Walk by Faith not by sight" as in know that the Lord is without seeing him. I can not doubt that the Lord is there and listening to my thoughts, what I speak, when I praise him with words and in song.
Reference these scriptures Romans 10:8, 10:17 -- II Corinthians 5:7 -- Psalm 91:1-4

Yes He Will

That old song keeps playing in my head. I know its because somethings on my mind. I prayed about it. Every once in a while that worry comes back to me, so I know that old song is remindering me to let it go. Cause I know the Lord will make a way somehow, and sense I know this I have to trust this, have faith in it. After all that was my resolution for this year, increase my faith. I'm not sure if everyone has a favorite book in the Bible, but I do and that is the book of Psalm. I can turn to it and find the comfort I seek, the answer to my question, a measure of understanding, reassurance of God's Will, Love, Peace, Mercy and Grace.
Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. Psalm 37:4-5

Jesus Our Hope

I Timothy 1:1 Paul is writing to pastors by the commandment of Jesus Christ. To Timothy specifically. When you hear the word, believe the word, then BE the word. If not you become a hypocrit (hindering the word). Colossians 1:27 Hope of Glory. As we grow in Christ we understand more clearly that before was a mystery. Teachers should still have the need to be taught. Remember: People hear with their eyes. Colossians 2:6 When you receive Christ walk in him. Our Lord, our Master purchased us with a price, he has the power to control us, but gives us free will. We are offered a choice good or evil, death or life. Co-operate with the Christ in YOU the Holy Ghost is in control. When we yield to him we are walking in our true destiny. Remember: The Lord established our end BEFORE our beginning. Nothing we go through is a surprise to the Lord. v7 concerns Faith with Thanksgiving (can not have Hope without Faith). v8 reveals HIS will to those who love him. Christ in our hearts is our hope in glory. In order to have everything that God has for you, first yiou must walk upright, have strong faith, have Christ in your heart, practice the word and hide it in your heart that you may answer correctly AND humbly when asked why you have hope in the midst of whatever you may be going through. Paul and Timothy teach the word, based ON the word. For what God said then, he's saying today and will say the same tomorrow. HE DOES NOT CHANGE. Our Hope is centered in Christ by our faith. Our labor is not in vain, stand on the word of God. For he says, that he places his word above his name. Remember: all the devil can do is tempt us, for sin is pleasurable for a season. But the wages of sin is death.
Confess the sin. Repent. And God offers Grace & Mercy.
Stand, Pray, Speak, Live the word.

What I learned in Church today

The upper room is where Jesus had a final meal (The Last Supper) with his disciples (the 12 commissioned to follow, learn, be the pupils of Jesus during His ministry on Earth).[Mark 14]. The disciples name changed to apostles (for they were now trained for the task of carrying HIS message to the world). In the upper room Jesus had communion (broke bread [the body] and had them drink wine [the blood]) to show his new testament. He made it known that the fufillment of the Lord's word was at hand (being betrayed, his arrest and death). He gave them instructions on what to do afterwards.

Job 14:7
For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.

Growth and Trust in the Lord

Requires us to be fruitful, like a tree planted by the water (Living Waters) we must be rooted in our faith. Never ceasing in our belief in the Lord, his son Jesus Christ or in the Holy Spirit. If we do whatsoever we do will prosper. We shall be known to others as a servant of God. Because our delight in the Lord will show in our walk, how we talk, the way we think. For our only fear will be in displeasing God, for we will know that there is nothing that man can do to us that will be more heart wrenching than to have the Lord turn away from us. This growth and trust in the Lord may take years to accomplish, as in my case I knew without a doubt that the Lord was real. However I did not know how he influenced my life until now. When I look back and see that decisions I made to go one way verses another where not mind, but the Lord leading me. With my increase in Faith, my study of the Word, my Trust that the Lord is always with me and will never forsake me has also grown. So like a tree planted by the waters, after many years of taking root, I have reached the stage where I am bearing fruit.

Answer to the question

Proverbs 12:22 Lying lips are abomination to the Lord: but they that deal truly are his delight.
You ask: Why are my prayers going unanswered? Why is it that I can't seem to get what I need or want?
Could it be the lies that you speak? Could it be the negative words that come from your mouth? Could it be that the only positive things that you share with other concern only yourself?
But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and you sins have hide HIS face from you, that he will not hear. Isaiah 59:2
God can not answer pray that he can not hear. (Prayers are hindered by our own actions) Instead of praying for things, try repenting of your sins known and UNKNOWN, those you are aware you committed and those that you are UNSURE of. God does forgive all he ask.

Knowledge, the seeking of

I seek after knowledge of the Lord my God, his Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Proverbs 2, tells me that I should seek it (knowledge) as if it were a hidden treasure. In that the Lord will give me the wisdom, from him I will get knowledge and understanding. That He (The Lord) has stored this up for the righteous. He is my shield, he guards my path, he preserves my way so that which I seek will enter into my heart and I shall understand. This knowledge will keep me and deliver me from evil. I gotta tell you I'm excited to the point of tears. (and I never cry)

Forgiveness

To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sake forgave I it in the person of Christ; Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. II Corinthians 2:10-11 (KJV)
************************************************************************************
If you forgive anyone anything, I too forgive that one; and what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, has been for your sakes in the presence and with the approval of Christ the Messiah. To keep Satan from getting the advantage over us; for we are not ignorant of his wiles and intentions. II Corinthians 2:10-11 (AV)
************************************************************************************
No matter which version you read the message is still the same we must forgive him who commited the act upon/to us. For if we do not then the enemy will use that against us. We will be as others we have seen on the news who have commited like acts, destroyed others lives as well as their own. In some cases taken a life or lives and used the act as the reason (excuse) for what they have done. I don't believe the Lord has brought us this far in life to have us throw it away by being unforgiving. We call ourselves his servants and he commands his servants to forgive, the transgressor every time as the transgressor commits the act and asks for forgiveness, each time we shall give that forgiveness.

The answer to a question

Isaiah 28
v15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
v16 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corne stone, a sure foundation; he that believeth shall not make haste.
v17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
v18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.

Ecclesiastes 7:17 Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time?

What I learned at this Sundays service

That its alright to look back at the past, as long as you don't linger there. See what you used to be and do, then turn around and see where you are now and take a good look at what you're doing with your life now.
For the word says Hebrews 10:16-17 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
So, if the Lord can forgive and forget what we did before we turned over our lives (heart, mind, body, soul) to him. Surely we can rejoice in the fact that we no longer are what we once were.

The Lord knows our thoughts

I sit some times and my mind wanders, I think of things I could of done but didn't, said but didn't. I think about other people and what they've done or did or are doing. Some of these thoughts are good, but there are those times when they are negative. I think its a good thing that I didn't or don't say what I think out loud or act on them. But is it really me that makes that decision? Yes. The Lord granted me free will, he also promised ask and it shall be given. I asked that he guide my footsteps, keep me on the path of righteousness. Those times when the negative thought is kept silent and the possiblities/probablities arise (you know the maybe because) I know that is the Lord listening to the way my thoughts are going and reminding me that all things/people are not as they seem. Even I may not be what others think I am.

The answer to the question

But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.

Fear

fear, to dread; to be afraid of; to be anxious.
But the Lord thy God says in Deuteronomy 9:3 Understand therefore this day, that the Lord thy God is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face:..., so remember Psalm 23:4 ..., I will fear no evil; for thou art with me;....,and say to the enemy Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Could you? Would you?

The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want. Truer words have never been spoken. Could YOU take on such a responsibility? To have how many millions or billions of people calling out your name on a daily, hourly, minutely basis and expecting you to be johnnie on the spot, looking for you to lift heavy burdens, relieve stressful situations, alway have a solution to the problem, hold their hands, guide their footsteps, ease their worried minds, cleanse their souls and intercede on their behalf. Would YOU do it? For a Thank You, Words of Praise, Songs of Worship.

Morning Praise

Our Father who art in Heaven, I come to say thank you for this day, for it was not promised to me but you let me have it anyway. I am thankful that I can wake up each morning with Praise on my lips. For if it had not been for the Lord on my side where would I be?

It's in God's hands

There is nothing to hard for God if we will only trust him. How often have we heard this, know it to be true but still we attempt to fix a problem ourselves and make it worst or we turn it over to God ask him to help us, then get in his way by continuing to worry about the problem or try to fix it anyway. I know I need to trust him to take care of me in the midst as he has the other times when I didn't even know that he was. Even though it may seem that he's not working on it, he is. I know the enemy will most likely stop by after I've prayed for God to help me out over and through. Then enemy will come to try an take away that trust, by placing doubt. I say out loud, THE DEVIL IS A LIAR, go away, get back, the Lord says it is done, so it is done.

Are you a willing servant? Are you able to stand?

c6v12:And Moses spake before the Lord, saying Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened unto me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips? Pastor used this as an example of how when God makes a request of us we come up with excuses/reasons why we can't do what He has asked us to do. Then don't understand why He gets angry with us. When all He wants is for us who call ourselves His servants to go where He would have us go and do what He would have us do willingly despite our shortcomings.
c7v12:For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods. Pastor explained how this is an example of how the enemy will attack us, from many directions sometimes all at once, but if we trust in God he will swallow up every attack the enemy throws at us.

Woke up with a Song

Feel like feel like praising him, feel like feel like praising him, for he woke me up this morning and started me on my way and i feel like feel like praising him
