Be Quiet

Be free of noise, activity, disturbance, troubles and thoughts
Nothing said, expressed, done
Be silent, hushed
Be mentally calm
Be at rest, serene
To remain subdued
To make no sound
To occupy a place of stillness

But whoso hearkeneth unto me
shall dwell safely,
and shall be quiet from fear of evil
Proverbs 1:33

Shut up

To close, bring together the lips.

To enclose, bar, confine words from exiting out of the mouth.

To be temporarily free of speech.

To stop from talking.

To become silent.

Be silent, everyone,

in the presence of the Lord.

He is coming out of the holy place where he lives

Angels

Angels are said to be spiritual beings, having human form with wings and usually wearing a white robe. They have even been depicited in paintings and drawings as having halos.
Some believe that angels are virtous (good, righteous) people, who died and when their souls were accepted into heaven they became angels.
Some also believe that we each have a guardian angel the Lord assigned to us at birth or as our protectors because of what it says in
Psalm 34:7 The angel of the Lord encampeth (lives) round about them
that fear Him and delivereth them.
The angels in the Bible generally appear in the role of God's messengers.

Like Gabriel which means, "strong man of God" who is believed to be the angel that shall blow the trumpet blast at the end of time, the Last Judgment. Gabriel can be found in
Luke 1:19 And the angel answering said unto him I am Gabriel
that stand in the presence of God
and am sent to speak unto thee
and to shew thee these glad tidings.
Then theres Michael which means, "one who is like God" believed to be the field commander of God's Army an example of why is found in
Revelation 12:7 And there was war in heaven;
Michael and his angels fought against the dragon (the devil, satan)
and the dragon fought and his angels.
We also have Raphael (not the Ninja Turtle) [that got a chuckle] which means "it is God who heals" this angel is believed to perform all manner of healing. Though not mentioned by name, it is believed he is the angel in
John 5:5 For an angel went down at a certain season
into the pool and troubled the water
whosoever then first after the troubling of the water
stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.
Another angel Uriel which means, "light of God" is believed to stand at the Gates of Eden. He is not mentioned by name either in
Genesis 3:24 So he drove out the man;
and he placed at the east of the garden of eden
Cherubims and a flaming sword
which turned every way to keep the way of the tree of life.
But if you believe or not in Angels. Remeber God's word in
Hebrew 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers
for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

the Calling God has given You

Heard a Minister speak today on examining the calling God has given You.
She pointed out that God does not call everyone to Preach.
Some He has called to Teach, to Give.
Some have been called to do Big things.
Some small things.
Whatever the calling God has placed on you.
Accept it.
Rejoice in it.
Be grateful for it.
This calling you have may not seem like much, but it is not for you to judge.
It is for you to do, for the Glory of God.
She gave an example of a Lady, who felt insulted a first that the Lord had called her to do the bathroom at her church.
But, she fulfilled it.
The women at her church were blessed because of it.
The bathroom that she decorated, is a haven.
A place for the soul to rest.
A place for the spirit to find peace.
In closing she advised us, to Ask God to Direct Our Steps and if there is Anything Else We can do to Serve God.
Do it.

On the Road

Going about my business,
minding my own you understand.
Living life how I saw fit.
It wasn't much of a life, but
I was having a good time.
Or so I had convinced myself.
I had a job.
I had a car.
I had a roof over my head.
I had clothes on my back.
I had food to eat.
But spent most of my time broke.
Financially,
Physically,
Mentally.
Then one day
when I was on the road to nowhere.
I met the man from Galilee.

I did it again

I missed posting a message yesterday. I intended to do it before midnight, after I finished my homework. I realize I could have done it early yesterday morning when I finished my reading assignments, but I was sleepy and just wanted to go lay down, get a little rest before going into work.

Makes me think how I would feel if the Lord decided He was too tired to answer my call.

Lord, no excuses. I acknowledge I broke a pledge made to you. The opportunity was there I didn't take it. My mind was on me and what I needed/wanted. Not on what I had promised You. I ask your to pardon my sin and forgive my transgression.

Because of my actions, someone may have missed a message that the Lord had for them yesterday. It is my prayer that the Lord sent someone else to you with that message, that you received your blessing though I missed mine. I apologize to you. I ask for forgiveness and know I have to forgive myself as well.

My Understanding of

Psalm 89:30-34

If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;
If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;
Then will I visit their transgressions, with the rod, and their inquity with stripes.
Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.

Susposing that we abandon His law, and refuse in His judgments;
Whenever we ignore His established laws, and keep not His commandments;
At that time will He curse us for our violation of the law, accompanied by a measure of discipline, and by our sin will we be marked.
In spite of that His affection for and love of us will He not completely remove, nor allow His faithfulness to be less.

The Video

As it says in Psalm 32:5 I acknowledge my sin and confess my transgression.

Recently I was sent a video entitled "Never let a Crackhead sing at your Funeral".
Unfortunately I, like the others who had viewed it before me laughed at the spectacle that the young man made of himself trying to sing 'Amazing Grace'. I was ashamed and embarrassed for him.
The Lord corrected me.
I did not know this young man, what he had been through, where he had come from. I did not know if this was even a funeral (you couldn't tell this looking at the video). I don't know the person who first put this clip out there for others to see or why.
Who was I to laugh? Does it not say in the Word '...in the congregation I will praise the Lord'. Was this not what this young man was doing?
Why was I ashamed and embarrassed for him for knowing only one verse and how he sang? Does not my Word say, 'Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise' and 'I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people.'
So what, that he did not know the whole song. He knew the part that meant the most to him. 'Amazing Grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me, I once was lost but now am found'.
Could I claim to know the words to ever song I sang when I offered up Praise. No.
If this young man was a crackhead did he not earn the right to sing 'God's praise'.

I Thank the Lord for His correction. I ask for His forgiveness. My hope is in the Lord, for with the Lord there is mercy.
'For His anger endureth but a moment, in His favor is life...' Psalm 30:5

My Understanding of

Deuteronomy 28:1

If thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the Earth.

On condition that we give attention to what the Lord our God says, persistently obeying, complying with and conforming to all His commands as we have been instructed to, the Lord our God will before all nations present us as the model, place us before them as the standard.

Its Time To Say So

Oh Lord my God all that I have and am is because of you.
I willingly offer myself heart, mind, body and soul into your hands with great joy and much gladness.
Give me Lord, a perfect heart so that I may keep thy commandments, observe thy statutes, increase in the knowledge and understanding of your Word, grow in wisdom and be able to testify to your goodness without hesitation.
I bless your name my Lord, my God.
I worship you, magnify you, giving you all the glory, the honor and the praise.
You Lord are my hope.

Will I

Let the Lord have dominion over me.
Let the Lord abide in my heart.
Be a help to the Lord as He has been to me.
Be blessed all the days of my life and on into the generations.
Be forgiven my iniquities and purged of my sins.
Show my love of and faith in the Lord in my ways.
Praise His name.
Testify to the goodness of the Lord.
Hear Him with my ears and receive Him in my heart.
Read the Word and understand.

Yes, I know I will.

Be Strong

Fear thou not; for I am with thee:
be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee;
yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Isaiah 41:10
So I arise and speak of my belief in the Living God, my intentions to follow the Lord's commandments and statues and I let it be known that I have made a covenant with Him.
I do not think about what others may say regarding my new walk.
I stand strong on His Word, I am a child of God.

My Prayer: That you be strong, know that the Lord God is your defence against your enemies (for they will come). For thus saith the Lord 'I am with thee, to deliver thee. I have broken thy yoke and I will not forsake thee.'

If the Lord Delights in Us

If we choose the Lord, to be our rock, our fortress, our deliverer, our shield, our sword, our salvation, our refuge, our strength.
If we decide to put all our trust in Him.
If we receive, believe, obey, study and sanctify ourselves in the truth of the Word.
If we separate from the world, release self, surrender to the Lord and let the Holy Spirit lead us.
If we in the fullness of time become rich in faith
Blessed will we be.
for When we need Him, He will come.
and When we call out His name, He will hear our voice.
then When we send up our cry, our prayer, our petition, our plea, He will answer every time.

REMEMBER: As soon as and at which time we meet the conditions, the requirements, the stipulations. That uncertain possibility If becomes a When.

Troublemaker

Starts murmurs of discontent.
Accuses one of whispering about another behind their back.
Causes division amongst us.
Spreads falsehoods.
Attempts to justify wrongdoing.
Judgemental.
Misuses and misrepresents God given gifts.
Heres something you should know;
You are an abomination unto the Lord.
By your words and deeds you have provoked the Lord.
Therefore the Lord will deliver you from among us.
We shall hold our peace, saying not a word to or against you.
We will however be in prayer for you.
For thus saith the Lord 'Be not afraid of the words that thou hast heard.....'

Tears

My hope is in God, though troubles and trials have come my way.
Yet will I praise Him.
For He is my help, my strength, my rock.
'Misery loves company', it has been said but for me the Lord shall be my companion.
As I cry my tears become my prayer, my praise, my worship.
My faith in God is unshaken.
Through the night until the break of day though I mourn that which is loss.
I know My Lord, My God, My Savior is with me.

It is said that white is not even a color, it is without hue and only reflects light.
But we wear it on First Sunday, Fifth Sunday and Women's Day.
We Mothers, Sisters, Daughters, Friends.

We the Women of God, wear white to show ourselves reformed of mind, acknowledging that the blocks have been cleared from our path.
We are whole and complete, loyal to our Lord, open to His counsel, truthful in our worship, dependable, honorable.
The wearing of white symbolizes our new beginning, our innocence, our purity.
