Seeking Grace and Mercy
Humbly I ask your pardon for my inquities.
Again.
The thought was there, I knew it needed to be done.
But I allowed thoughts of others
and the deeds that I had committed myself to do for them
crowd out that which I had committed myself to do for you.
Lord, how many times can I seek your mercy and your grace?
This time my sin of,
what do I call it?
Forgetfulness?
Because it wasn't quite that.
But it has doubled.
The other times I missed one day, this time it is two days.
I come today Lord, not only seeking forgiveness,
but to set before you my petitions,
I am asking Lord,
for your help in focusing my mind on those things that you would have me do,
help me to discern request brought to me,
from what I think to what you know.
I ask this as all things in your Son Jesus name.
Amen.
Thank you, Lord.

Offering up Praise
1And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.
Even though I haved sinned against you, You Lord have not forsaken me.
2Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.
I need fear nothing or no one for the Lord my God is ever with me.
3Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. The dawn of each day and the ending of the same I shall rejoice.
4And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.
Every day I will call upon the Lord with thanksgiving, for His mercy and His grace.
5Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.
I will raise my voice in songs of praise, even if I don't know all the words I will still offer them up to the Lord.
6Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.
I will not let the presence of others or the lack thereof, stop me from giving Praise.

Reliance
1Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
Observe see and recognize that the Lord's hand is not taken in from you, or restricted from you or limited to you, that it cannot rescue you and safeguard you against evil; also nor is His ear laden, that it cannot attend to and listen to you with favor:

6From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;
To talk excessively, in pride and arrogance with a harsh discordant voice causing upset and irritation, because of the lack of substance or worth in which you speak having turned in direction from the straight or direct course, that the Lord would have you go.
Sometimes one believes they know what a scripture means, having read, studied and meditated on the Word. They will become angry if you dispute what they say. This is not God's way.

Yield Not to Temptation
If you will allow sin, it will as a result have domination over your person, expecting you to follow its instructions. You can not follow or obey the sin of temptation and expect the Grace of God to cover your actions.
12Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
14For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
17But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

Minister and Laymans Conference - 'The Living Stone'
There were 6 speakers 1 for each verse. Five came and spoke the Word.
In order to build your house, there are some things that need to be done first
(found in I Peter 1:13-25) because before you build you need to clear the ground.
The Lord is our rock, Jesus is our living stone.
If you want God to save you, repent; we need to come clean, purge and prove ourselves, learn to sacrifice.
Tell God you're sorry for your sin, ask His pardon, ask the Lord to wash you.
If we obey His voice, keep the covenant, willingly come.
Pray. Fast. Stand.
Jesus serves as the foundation we build on.
We are the elect, the chosen.
Be that, "Believer that has faith."
In regards to the Word; Read. Listen. Meditate. Study.
Stone of Stumbling is rejection.
We didn't get to hear about the Royal Priesthood.
But what we did hear!
Thank you Lord for an awesome day of
Praise, Worship, Shared Wisdom and Increased Knowledge.

Money
The cost of Believing is free
That covenant that you made with the Lord,
is not a written contract with fine print and hidden fees
There is no price tag on the Lord's forgiveness, it is yours for the asking
The Faith you have in the Lord is priceless
There is no debt involved in Trust
Whatever we need from Him to survive is stamped "No Charge"
For me this was an unexpected windfall

Find yourself in Sripture
1Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
I found myself within these words.
I am in my latter times, though I have not lost faith
I have on occassion heeded seducing spirits
and have had my conscience seared because of this
As of verse 3 not the abstaining from meat but the forbidding to marry
thats me too.
4For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
5For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
6If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast
attained.
The Lord brought this to my attention this morning,
when I asked about what word or scripture would He have me use.
I Timothy chapter 4 is what He 'dropped into my spirit' I believe is the termed I've heard used
As I was reading it, the question came 'did you find yourself in this scripture?'
"Yes, Lord I found a description of myself in this chapter"
I thank you Lord for the education, your continued guidance and most especially the knowledge

Stop Worrying
In other words STOP!
You have no need to worry about the what, the when, the how or the why
And come to think of it where
Have faith, trust, believe
God's got you

The Breath of Life
Every read this passage and thought, "Wish it could have been me."
It can be.
Confess with your mouth that you believe that God raised His Son Jesus from the dead and you shall be saved.
Repent of your transgressions, trespasses, and sins.
Believe you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

In Answer To
it comes upon us when our mind or heart is troubled
when our flesh is conflict with our spirit
sometimes it arrives unexpectly
When it does look to the Word you will find the answer to defeat it
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

Catch your Soul on Fire
you will find him if you look for him
with all your heart and with all your soul.
Deuteronomy 4:29
My heart grew hot within me,
and as I meditated,
the fire burned;
then I spoke with my tongue:

Bible Study
After hearing Philip preach on the Kingdom of God and seeing the miracles performed in the name of Jesus Christ.
He too became a believer and was baptized.
However, the story goes on to tell us how when Peter and John came to the city and laid hands on those who had been baptized in the name of Jesus, they received the Holy Ghost.
Simon after seeing this done, offered them money for this power so that he to might lay hands on people and they would receive the Holy Ghost.
After I read this, my mind questioned.
Had he not understood that the power belongs to Jesus Christ?
Did he have a relapse into his old way of thinking and behaving?
How many times and in how many ways, had I let myself slip back into the person and the behaviors of the past?
I think the words of Peter to Simon, say it all.
V22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.

Work together for God
A wish to attain the specified condition,
that has an effect or influence on the mind and feelings of a person.
In association with the relationship we have one for another in harmony and accord.
In order to gain love of a degree such as we have never known.
Finally.
Permanently.
Forever.

Alone
I needed help
Not just anyone could help me
The saving of my soul required more
And then there He was.
My soul finds rest in God alone;
my salvation comes from him.
He alone is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
Psalm 62:1-2

God is
'And all the time' 'God is good'
How many times have we heard this?
How many times have we repeated it?
How many believe it to be true?
Without doubt?
All the time?
I've often wondered where this came from?
Who originated this saying?
I looked it up.
And this is what I found out about the saying and the originator of it.
"Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good—except God alone."
Luke 18:19

Passing it On
"Did you know?" and "If you didn’t how could you not?"
Surely someone, your grandmother, your mother, perhaps even your father or grandfather told you about the Lord.
28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.
29 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 40
The answer for me would be, "No."
When you are young, you think you know all there is to know.
There are just some things we have to come to realize for ourselves.
Like the points made in these scriptures.
It is to be hoped that we realize these things, before its too late.

Morning Worship
In the morning, O LORD, You will hear my voice; (v3)
it came to me that I had not thanked the Lord for the new day,
in fact for the pass few days or has it been weeks?
I had not offered up to the Lord, my thanksgiving.
Had not the Lord been blessing me?
Had not the Lord been watching over and protecting me?
Has not the Lord given me reason to rejoice in Him daily?
Was it that I was so sure of the Lord?
Or was I taking Him for granted? Again!
I know, that the Lord knows, what is in my mind and my heart.
But does He not also want to hear my Praise?
Please know Lord. [I say out loud]
But as for me, by Your abundant lovingkindness I will enter Your house,At Your holy temple I will bow in reverence for You. (v7)
Always.

Giving God the Glory, Honor and Praise
and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him. I Samuel 1:27 (NIV)
By my faith in the name of Jesus, I pray for my daughter whom He sees and knows to be made strong. It is in Jesus' name and the faith that comes through and by the Lord that has given her complete healing. Taken from Acts 3:16
For what great nation is there
who has a god so near to them as the Lord our God is to us
in all things for which we call upon Him? Deuteronomy 4:7 (AB)
I Praise the name of my Lord, my God, my Father who art in Heaven.
I Thank you Lord, for answered prayer.
I Thank you Lord, for being an on time God.
I Thank you Lord, for being with my baby girl when I was unable to be there.
I Thank you Lord, that she was able to reach out to her big sister, and she was there to answer the call.
I Thank you Lord, for my father being here to prop me up.
I Thank you Lord, for my oldest baby being the calm in the storm.
I Praise your name Lord. Thank you Lord. Thank you.

To All
May grace (God's unmerited favor) and spiritual peace [which means peace with God and harmony, unity, and undisturbedness] be yours from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 1:2
For those who are against me.
I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised:
so shall I be saved from mine enemies. Psalm 18:3
Praise God.
Thank you Lord for the message.

At War
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. Galatians 5
Pastor spoke on how anger is a lust of the flesh.
I looked up some information, for myself to increase my understanding
Lust; is an uncontrolled inclination of the mind or will.
My thoughts then are the release of this anger, that brings satisfaction.
But only for a few moments.
In the calm after the storm, the Spirit comes and you realize that you could have handled the situation better.
In fact, had you taken a moment you would have heard the Spirit say,
"The anger that you are feeling right now is opposite in the nature and character, direction and position that the Lord would have you be."
Had you heard these words, you could have stopped the words or action.
The flesh is at war with the Spirit.
The battles between the two will be many, but the Spirit must triumph over the flesh for the Word says, "...of which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the Kingdom of God."

The Lord is Talking
"Say to them, ' As I live,' says the LORD, 'just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will surely do to you;
Now will I arise, says the Lord, because the poor are oppressed, because of the groans of the needy; I will set him in safety and in the salvation for which he pants.
For thus says the LORD: "You were sold for nothing, and you shall be redeemed without money.
Thus saith the LORD; Shall they fall, and not arise? shall he turn away, and not return?
The Lord says, "I will make you wise and show you where to go. I will guide you and watch over you.
The Lord says, "Whoever loves me, I will save. I will protect those who know me.
"As for Me, this is My covenant with them," says the LORD: "My Spirit which is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring's offspring," says the LORD, "from now and forever."

Stand Still
To remain in place, fixed, immobile.
Upright and steady on the feet.
To stop.
Be stationary.
Submit to.
Rise to one's feet.
To maintain an attitude of respect.
