fear, to dread; to be afraid of; to be anxious.
But the Lord thy God says in Deuteronomy 9:3 Understand therefore this day, that the Lord thy God is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face:..., so remember Psalm 23:4 ..., I will fear no evil; for thou art with me;....,and say to the enemy Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
