Fruit of the Spirit

We that are Christ's must abide in Him and eat of the fruit of the spirit.

Love - we will be unselfish, loyal, having benevolent intentions (expressed goodwill), pledging commitment to the Lord and towards each other.

Joy - we will find ourselves to be in a state of delight and wellbeing, of great pleasure, happiness and prosperity.

Peace - we will have such a sense of harmony, in one accord and with an absence of hostility and unfriendliness.

Longsuffering - we will be self controlled with enduring patience able to hold out against hardships able to stand and wait on the Lord.

Gentleness - we show kindness, remain calm, speaking soothingly, having tender forgiving sympathetic and merciful feelings towards others.

Goodness - we will be generous and honest in our dealings, being known by the quaility of our character as being a good person.

Faith - we will be confident due to our trust in our beliefs.

Meekness - we show our humbleness by being obedient to the word and yielding to the will of God.

Temperance - we will learn to hold back negative thoughts, control our tongues, be circumspect in our behavior.

For henceforth let no man trouble me; for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.
