My Friend Jesus

My friend Jesus, told me not to walk in darkness (sin), for I would not know where or which way to go. But, if I walked in the light my path would be lit, I would be able to see where to go and which way to get there.

Then my friend Jesus, gave me to understand that if I loved him, I should rejoice that he died on the cross, for it released him from this world to go unto the Father. That I was not be comfortless for He had sent the Holy Spirit.

And then my friend Jesus, told me that he would never leave me or forsake me. If I had need of him I only had to call his name and he would come.

So my friend Jesus, gave me this Peace. Not as the world defines it, but a different kind of Peace. His Peace lets not my heart be troubled neither lets it be afraid.

My friend Jesus, also told me that as a believer I needed to set an example for others (non-believers). Let them hear by my words of conversation, let them see by how I give and show love, let them know by my works, let the Spirit that dwells in me shine through, keep my Faith before, during and after the storms (trials and tribulations) of life and lastly not to neglect the gift(s) that he has given me, to use them for the Glory of the Kingdom.
