Tale of the Resurrection - Matthew 28

After the Sabbath, near dawn the first day of the week. Mary of Magdala and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. There came a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord had descended from heaven and rolled the boulder back (stone away) and sat upon it. His appearance was like lightning, his garments white as snow. The guards post at the tomb were frightened at the sight of him, became like dead men (coma/stiff/stone like). The angel told the women, not to be frightened, he knew they had come looking for Jesus who had been crucified. He was not there, he had risen, as he said he would. The angel invited them into to tomb to see for themselves. He told them to quickly go and tell the disciples, that Jesus had risen and would met them in Galilee. The women left as instructed (they were afriad but filled with great joy). Jesus met the women on their way and greeted them. They fell at his feet (touching him) and worshiped him. Jesus told them not to fear, go tell his brethens (disciples) to meet him in Galilee.

Side note: The guards that were at the tomb, went to the priests and told them what happened. The priests and elders paid them to say that Jesus' disciples came and stole his body while they were sleeping. This story is still believed by some today.

The disciples went to Galilee (mountain) to meet Jesus at the appointed time. When they saw him, tell fell down and worshiped him, though some did doubt. Jesus told them that all authority (power) in heaven and earth had been given to him. Told them to go and make disciples (believers) of all the nations. Baptize in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Teach to observe the command that he had given them. To know that He would be with them all their days to the close consummation of the age (death).

Questions:
Would you have been afraid? ran away from the angel? stayed to listen?
Would you have believed that He had risen?
Would you have gone to meet Him?
After seeing Him with your own eyes would you have still doubted?
Do you today believe that He lives?
Do you know that He is with you always?
