Second Chances

Not many of us ever recieve a second chance. As the saying goes "You only have one chance to make a first impression."
How happy I am that this statement does not hold true with God. Cause the God I know and serve, is a God of second chances.
He has given me one.
A second chance to live a new life.
This is His gift to me, no one can take it away, it is mine to accept or reject.
THIS time I choose to accept with my whole being (heart, body, mind, soul).
The first chance he gave me I took it, with a but. I accepted with exceptions, "Okay, I'll do your will as long as I can ....," "I'll go where you want, do what you want but first ....," and my all time #1, "If I do this for you what are you gonna do for me in return?"
As each blessing that I had recieved (with gleeful greed) was taken away, I came to know and understand, that God DOES NOT negotiate. There is NO bargaining, there is NO either/or. The question 'Will you?' requires a straight answer "I will".
The choice was mine.
God granted us free will after all.
